“Don’t say you don’t have enough time. You have exactly the same number of hours per day that were given to Helen Keller, Pasteur, Michaelangelo, Mother Teresea, Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Jefferson, and Albert Einstein.”

-Life’s Little Instruction Book, compiled by H. Jackson Brown, Jr.” (via ninacm) (via solfey) (via whisperingwillow) (via itookadeepbreath)

Enough. If the purpose of this post is to make as many people feel like shit as possible, mission accomplished [via George w. Bush/ bamy]. They didn’t accomplish their feats bc they were dramzing about time. They were incredibly passionate people who were afforded the luxury [via not starving] of concentrating their time, energy, and resources on their interests. People who post quotes like this believe the world is a meritocracy  and it isn’t. These people are amazing, inspiring humanitarians or artists but we can’t forget they are also very lucky.

The danger in not realizing this is frustration. Frustration that may lead us to give up on our dreams. Many people are just as giving, passionate, and strong as Helen Keller. But history only recognizes one. There are many other Helen kellers who weren’t able to make as large of strides. This doesn’t make them any less moral or committed to their cause, their meme simply didn’t go viral.

I just think that anyone who is focused on doing the good should be encouraged and respected.they may complain about time. But it’s because they got shit to do. Fuck this shit.
